The groom traditionally pays for:
- Wedding ring for the bride
- Wedding gift for the bride
- Groomsmen / usher gifts
- Bride’s bouquet
- Mothers’ corsages
- Groom, groomsmen and usher boutonnieres
- Marriage License
- Limousine service
- Honeymoon arrangements
- Clergy / officiate fee
The bride’s family traditionally pays for:
- Wedding gown, headpiece and accessories
- Bridesmaid bouquets & grandmother corsages
- Ceremony & reception flowers & decor
- Rental items for wedding & reception
- Invitations / announcements
- Wedding programs, napkins, favors
- Church, musicians, janitor, reception hall fees
- Professional services - photographer, videographer, musical entertainment, caterer, cake decorator
- Father of the bride formal wear
The groom’s family traditionally pays for:
- Groom’s cake
- Rehearsal dinner
- Father of the groom formal wear
