When will my order ship?
To determine the estimated shipping time of your order, simply refer
to the production times for each item listed in the shopping cart, at
the button you submit the order with, and then in your order details
after the order has been placed. Each item lists an estimated processing
time that is required prior to shipping. If your order contains
items with several processing times, the order is shipped when all items
are completed. For example, if you have an item that requires
3-5 days and another item that requires 12-14 days, the order will ship
when the item is completed at the end of the 14 days. Processing
times are listed in "business days" which do not include weekends.
These times are estimates and not guaranteed.
When will my order arrive?
After your order leaves our location (see above for when
that occurs), the shipping company that you selected requires a certain
amount of time to transport the package from us to you. The length of
this time will depend on the service you selected. This can be checked
in your Order History in your account. Orders shipping by UPS Ground
reach most U.S. locations in under 5 days - within 1-3 for most of the
Eastern U.S. Expedited UPS services such as 2-Day and Overnight are
delivered accordingly (in business days). When using USPS, transport
times vary. Many only require a couple days, but some require closer
to 7+. USPS does not guarantee their transport times. For international
shipments, please refer to our international shipping information.
Shipping Costs
In order to provide each customer with the best shipping
options, our website provides individual shipping costs for you during
checkout BEFORE you commit to the order. US Mail and
UPS fees are displayed for all orders that qualify. Rates are displayed
according to what is in your shopping cart (used to calculate weight)
and where the order is being shipped. This allows you to review the
costs and choose the service that is best for you... all before checking
out. Once an order has been placed, changes in shipping requested by
the customer may include additional charges. Customer agrees to these
additional charges made to their method of payment used for the original
order. Such changes may include upgrades in service, redirection of
packages, as well as any other service that differs from the original
order placed and results in higher shipping related fees than charged
on the original order.
Expedited Delivery
This is a service offered by the shipping company. It defines the length of time a package is in their possession after it leaves our location and arrives at your location. Selecting such a service does alter the processing time of the order or imply an order ships on the date it was placed. The delivery service you select will be used after any order processing or production periods required for your order.
Damages, Missing Items, and Defects
If items are damaged, missing, or defective, notification must
be made to Wedding Depot within 10 days of the receipt date. Items will
be exchanged for the same item unless it is no longer available. In
such case that there are no exact replacements available, the dollar
amount of the item will be refunded to the customer. If the item is
still current, we'll happily replace the item. It will be up to Wedding
Depot whether the damaged item needs to be shipped back to us. Often,
photos of the damage can be used to complete the process.
Lost Packages
Wedding Depot relies on the tracking information
of our shipping companies to determine if packages
have been delivered. If a shipping service's
system indicates delivery and you have not received
your package, Wedding Depot will utilize tracing
services of the shipping company to locate the
package before any additional replacement shipments
can be made. This process is usually completed
in 7-10 business days and the customer agrees
to this process when they place their order.
If the package cannot be located by the shipping
company, replacements or refunds can be pursued
at that time.
Denied or Refused Delivery
If any shipment from WeddingDepot.com cannot be delivered for any reason (including but not limited to),
- It being refused by the customer at the time of attempted delivery
- If there are not sufficient recipients at the delivery address allowing for delivery of the package
- Infufficient address provided to Wedding Depot
the customer is responsible for 100% of the original shipping fees as well as any return shipping fees by the shipping company. Some delivery companies charge for return shipments just as if it was a new shipment. If the order is to ship again per the customer's request, the original shipping fee will again be applied as it was originally on the first shipment assuming the contents remain the same. If orders are refused by the customer, they accept responsibilty for the package for the return transit to Wedding Depot which includes loss and/or damage.
International Shipments
Each country may impose import taxes or VAT (value added taxes) on their
residents. Each shipping company may also have additinoal brokerage
fees. These amounts are not calculated or collected by Wedding Depot.
If your country selects to impose this sort of tax, it is between that
country and the customer and we recommend checking the rates if you
are unfamiliar with them. The country will bill or collect that tax
amount from the customer directly as well as the any additional brokerage
fees the shipping company may impose.
